NVCCI Introduction
The two countries Nepal and Vietnam, have long history of friendship, excellent relationships and
economic exchanges. It had taken a new dimension after the establishment of diplomatic relations on
August 1975 between the two countries. The relation of these countries continuous to mount day to day
due to mutual understanding, respect and trust, and treating each other equally. Over the past 44 years,
the sound traditional friendship between Vietnam and Nepal has continuously been nurtured and
developed by the two countries’ leaders.
Nepal Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NVCCI) has been established in 2014 with a view of
maintaining the intimate relation with Vietnamese industrialist and businessmen (business community)
through the medium of bilateral relationship. NVCCI as an organization assist to establish bilateral trade
relationship between two countries in different possible areas, explore and identify the possible trade
opportunities between the countries to provide mutual economic and trade growth to the industries of
the country.
NVCCI is established so as to play a crucial role to boost up economy of the country, drive to promote
signification or commercial exchanges and economic co-operation on mutual benefit based on between
their members. Likewise, by establishing bilateral relationship between different chambers, federations
and their member companies NVCCI is assisting its members to link with the Vietnamese counterparts.
Maintaining reciprocal trade and business cooperation, market research missions and helps each other
has been proved beneficial in exploring business and promoting mutual trade, commerce, economic
cooperation, industrial collaboration, tourism promotion investments, joint venture activities.
NVCCI had lead numerous business delegations and had participated many trade fairs and exhibitions.
NVCCI also assists to exchange information regarding economic and commercial legislation, and
arbitration practices to solve trade disputes. The bilateral economic and trade cooperation between
Vietnam and Nepal has witnessed encouraging signs over recent years.
